Problems with Xbox 360

iPhonesallaccess30 September 2009

If you have an Xbox 360, chances are that you have encountered some problems with your Xbox. Here are some tips on how to steer clear of any occurances with your Xbox 360. Just like a radiator in your car that keeps it cool, your Xbox needs to keep cool too, but it uses fans.

Make sure your Xbox 360 gets plenty of air and not enclosed inside something. Here’s a good tip: Keep the Xbox system off any carpet or rugs as that collects heat.

Do the same thing with the Power Supply Unit(PSU) because that gets hot too. I guarantee that these two things alone will make sure your Xbox console is running at it’s peak.

The next thing you should do is make sure you take breaks from playing your console I know it’s hard to stop playing for a few hours, but that’s what you need to do if your Xbox 360 Core happens to overheat.

Look at this link to see the step-by-step guides to get your Xbox running smoothly without having the xbox overheat.

Get the Xbox ring of death?

Here is a bit of background the on red ring of death Xbox. The Red Ring of Death was coined because around the power button it would light up red instead of green and make a ring. The best is when you have green lights around your power button because that means your Xbox unit is working perfectly fine.

Have you ever had your Xbox 360 console freeze? Well just like mentioned before, it is because your Xbox core is overheating.

Also have you heard of the E74 code? The bottom right quadrant on your Xbox core flashing red when you get a E74 code. This means that your Xbox 360 system has a general hardware error.
